Stag dos (aka bachelor parties)

One of my favorite types of events at Tipsy Tribe are stag dos – aka bachelor parties (shout out to bachelorette / hen dos who are also awesome but don't frequent us as much as the guys... so for this blog I'm going to specifically write about the boys.) 

Unlike the ladies, who often make the bride-to-be look like a princess (stash, tiaras etc), guys tend to make the future groom wear hilarious outfits to embarrass him. Right from the mood is light, fun and positive. And nothing screams confidence like a guy walking around Brussels with a wedding gown or a Mario costume 😊

We also dig the funny jokes and playful banter - especially during the quiz questions. Makes what we do at the brewery & distillery less like a job and more like fun.  We propose our own quiz questions but oftentimes the organizers prefer their own questions that they planned ahead with the fiancé. Either case both are awesome and make the evening even better.

What's a better stag party idea than drinks in a micro brewery & distillery in the country with some of the best beers in the world? Many of the people come from different countries in Europe and are looking to show their homeboy a good time in Brussels.  After the event, they usually stick around to drink more beers, gin, whisky, cocktail or whatever they want before their next stop on their pub crawl.

Interestingly, in French they call a stag night an "enterrement de vie de garçon" which literally translates to "funeral of the life of a boy". Apart from the dark undertones of the literal translation, the atmosphere in those parties are always bursting with positive energy no matter where the guys come from.
