Sustainability

Sustainability is at the heart of Tipsy Tribe. We've taken several initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint, including but not limited to:

​

  • Giving spent grain to a local farmer.

  • Solar panels on the roof enable us to produce electricity.

  • Offering discounts to customers who bring their own Tipsy Tribe branded packaging.

  • Using by-products from the alcohol distillation process as cleaning agents for the brewstillery.

  • Prioritizing the use of locally sourced ingredients.

  • Collaboration with local businesses to repurpose their food/drink products for making spirits.

  • Limiting water waste by capturing and reusing water in the production processes.

  • Obtained a three-star Ecodynamic label, which recognizes eco-responsible companies in Brussels.

  • Part of the Brussels Good Food an initiative that promotes a sustainable food system in Brussels

  • Member of the Brussels Beer Waste COOP which aims to create more synergies and inspiring more beer waste solutions in Brussels.

 

 

We’ll continue to try and find ways to become more sustainable all this while creating amazing, local, craft beers and spirits!
