Surviving Dry January and Tournée Minérale in February is not a piece of cake, especially if
you love drinking and work in a craft brewery and distillery... But having done dry January for the past few years, I've learned to love this time of the year. Here are some ways you can make the most out of this month of no alcohol :

A New Years resolution that is successful - abstaining from drinking for one month is one of those New Year's resolutions that you can actually complete successfully. Having a defined time period makes it more attainable for me.
Staying hydrated - Staying hydrated is key during anytime of the year, but that tends to happen naturally for me during dry January. Personally, I am officially obsessed with the Tipsy Tribe sparkling Hop Water. In addition to being zero alcohol, it also has zero calories which makes it amazing if you want to get into your beach body. I may be biased of course, but it is honestly quite amazing and I haven't seen anything like it in any breweries near me.
Mocktails - Cocktails with no alcohol (mocktails) are not my go-to when I go out, but in Dry January I've been giving a shot to more mocktails that I would not try otherwise.
Zero beers - non-alcoholic beers can sometimes taste a bit... different... but nowadays you can go to a beer shop and find a variety of non-alcoholic craft beers, ranging from sour to IPA. However, this is a tricky one as many zero beers released by craft breweries are often not made by them but rather contracted out to large industrial players... Yet, as zero beers grow in popularity, there are more and more craft breweries that experiment with non-alcoholic beers rather than contracting it out and just slapping their labels on it.
Getting shit done around the house - especially in the initial few days of the dry month, I find it useful to keep my mind occupied by getting things done around the house. This is the opportune time for sewing socks with holes, decluttering your living room, or organizing your closet!
Of course, soft drinks are always an option too, but if you're like me and you have a penchant for a "drink" when you're going out, then these non-alcoholic alternatives can be a lifesaver.
